As we are working in an asynchronous world we find it important to assess asynchronous communication skills during our recruitment process. That is why we invite potential colleagues for a Wieni Challenge.
This is a challenge with a near-real-world piece of code that replicates our normal work. We use it to evaluate abilities around security, performance, problem solving, as well as how you communicate and adapt to an unfamiliar codebase.
We allow a week to complete this challenge, though it is okay if you need more time. You can do it at your own pace and with your own tools.
As soon as you enter a Wieni Challenge, you receive an invitation for a Slack channel where we give specific instructions.
